On September 9th at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Dr. Steele will present the webinar From Brain Fog to Brain Injury: TBI Clues for Psychologists as part of the National Register’s Clinical Webinar Series. Dr. Steele will teach psychologists to recognize when common complaints like brain fog, poor concentration, emotional reactivity, and fatigue may signal an underlying concussion or TBI history, particularly when symptoms persist or resist standard treatment. This workshop covers post-concussion symptom patterns, essential history-taking questions, differential considerations, and indicators for referral and interdisciplinary care. Clinicians will learn how to reduce misattribution of symptoms and build more accurate case formulations for clients with overlapping cognitive and emotional concerns. This session includes learning objectives on identifying TBI-related complaints, spotting warning signs in clinical history, and designing appropriate referral and care-coordination plans.
