FAQs

Who should attend?

The convention is designed for a diverse mix of mental health professionals. It is ideal for practicing psychologists, supervisors, students and allied professionals across disciplines like law, social work,medicine, and public health.

What should I wear?

Attendance of the convention has a business casual dress code, but while engaging in wellness activities or evening events, please dress accordingly and for comfort.

Can I bring a guest to an evening event?

Yes, number of guests and names may be entered on the applicable fields on the registration form to attend an evening event. The small fee will be added to the attendee's invoice.

Are virtual attendance options available?

There isn't a virtual attendance option for the convention and there will not be any recordings. However, there are 1 1/2 day registrations available for in-person attendance.

How many CE's are available and how will certificates be provided?

The agenda is tentatively set to provide up to 12.75 CE credits. Once finalized, the sessions with their corresponding number of credits and each day's total will be viewable on the attendee registration webpage.

Electronic check-in and check-out information will be displayed on the screen for each session. Be sure to complete for each session that you attend. An electronic CE certificate will be sent within three weeks of the convention.

Will the program, attendee directory and speaker presentations/handouts be accessible?

The program will be posted on the convention webpage. once finalized. After the convention, you will receive an email containing links to approved speaker presentations and handouts as well as a convention attendee directory. Please note, printed copies will NOT be provided onsite.

What if I am only presenting a poster and not attending any sessions?

Instructions for participation will be sent to you once proposals have been selected.

What is the early bird deadline and the cancellation policy?

The last day for early bird rates is September 18th.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and can not be guaranteed after September 19th. A $75 processing fee will be applied to all refunds.
