Dr. Michelle Melton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in psychotherapy, psychological and forensic evaluations, and consultations for general mental health needs for adults and older adolescents. She has been in the mental health field for the past 10 years providing services in a variety of settings including private and state psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse recovery programs, and community mental health settings.

Dr. Melton received her Masters and Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She completed her Internship at Friends Hospital (program accredited by the American Psychological Association) in Philadelphia, PA, and Residency at Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute in Marion, VA. Dr. Melton also teaches at an APA accredited Doctoral Clinical Psychology program and oversees the training of the graduate students. She has supervised doctoral level psychology trainees, social work interns, and art therapist students.
