As an Arizona State program, the Division of Developmental Disabilities, provides services to and ensures the dignity and rights of those children, adolescents and adults with Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and other Cognitive Disorders such as Downs Syndrome.

Our Program Review Committee (PRC) in Tucson is seeking the volunteer expertise of those psychiatrists/fellows/residents who have some experience with persons with developmental disabilities and/or with physical management techniques and behavior-modifying medications.

The PRC meets a few times each month to review behavior treatment plans for the persons we serve.

The volunteer(s) would ideally serve each week, 8 hours per week (4 hours reading plans, 4 hours on the committee).

Also, the qualified person would have no ownership in a facility and would not be involved with providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
