Other Info:  Recently (July, 2011) re-located to Tucson from New Jersey, where I maintained a private practice for 18 years, seeing adolescents, adults, and families, and consulted to agencies serving people with HIV/AIDS and SPMI (serious and persistent mental illnesses). I have extensive experience working with folks who identify themselves as part of the "consumer/survivor/ex-patient movement" which is essentially people who are in recovery from major mental illnesses and who feel healthy and empowered enough to be functioning in the community, many as "consumer providers," peer support specialists, and mental health advocates and wellness coaches.
